Jovan
I believe that every journey is unique, and I’m here to walk beside you in yours while adapting to your needs. Take a moment to get to know more about me and how we can begin this process together.

Background
I know that it can be very difficult to take that first step in reaching out to a counselor. What
if this doesn’t work? Am I even in a bad enough place to need counseling? Will I be taking
up space from someone else who might need it more? These are some of the many
common questions that might be on your mind as you determine what counselor to go
forward with. Regardless of your concerns, I am ready to walk with you each step of the
way.
I use an integrative approach to counseling, which is a wordy way of saying that I
incorporate multiple approaches in my work with you, tailored to your specific needs and
desires from counseling.
I believe that the past and the future can often hold a lot of weight on us in the present
moment. Throughout our time together, I will invite you to reflect on how your past
experiences and your perceptions of the future are impacting you in the present moment,
which might even include how they impact you in the therapy room. There are often unsaid
social rules in every area of our lives, and it will be part of my duty to bring light to and
dismantle these social rules to create as comfortable of a therapeutic space as possible to
explore your concerns.
Some of my areas of experience (but not an exhaustive list!) have been with people
struggling with anxiety and depression, young adults, adults, trauma, sexuality-related
concerns, grief and loss, self-esteem and self-worth, relationship difficulties, and much
more. I look forward to working with you on your therapeutic journey.
